This update is the final friendly reminder that tonight, we lock completed pledges. Please make sure your pledge is completed today to enable us to despatch it to you by the end of September 2021. If you miss this deadline, we cannot guarantee you will receive it before the end of 2021.

Once locked, I will be adding all freebies to completed and eligible pledges over the next week. If you have any questions or need any help, please get in touch with me ASAP.

Later this week, we will be ramping up production as locking pledges provide us with the final numbers needed for fulfilment. Very exciting times indeed.

In other news, the campaign book is coming along nicely, the Outlaw section of the book is off with Steve Beckett for layout as it has had an edit, and I have the completed cover art, more on this later.

This update is a massive friendly reminder we have only four days before we lock completed pledges on the 1st June 2021.  Please make sure your pledge is completed by the 31st May 2021, enabling us to despatch it to you by the end of September 2021.

We can not guarantee your pledge will be despatched at the end of September 2021 if completed after the 31st May 2021 deadline. If you have any questions or need any help please get in touch with me ASAP.

Once locked I will be adding all the freebies to completed pledges that are eligible next week!

Two weeks left before we lock pledges!

Hello, I thought it would be prudent to send out an update today letting everyone know we only have two weeks left before we lock completed pledges. Doing this enables us to deliver BW3: Death and Taxes to you by the end of September 2021. As it currently stands, we have just 103 pledges left to be completed, which is phenomenal. It would be great to have them all finished, if possible, by the end of May, enabling us to crack on delivering everything for everyone.

A few backers asked me why they are still receiving emails inviting them to complete their pledge when they have completed their pledge. It transpired they had done everything EXCEPT click the button at the end, saying ‘Place My Order’. Clicking this button is the fail-safe to ensure that you are indeed ready to finish and place your order (pledge). 

We can't lock your pledge to prepare it for shipping unless you have done this, so please make sure you do by the end of May 2021.

Just for fun the current top five pack choices are:

3. Foot Sergeants Marching

4. Village Characters 1

5. Village Characters 2

I foresee Outlaw Retinues and villages full of characters in our future...

In other news, last week I finished the Outlaw Section for the Death and Taxes book ready for its first edit. It includes a comprehensive retinue list, new abilities just for outlaws and the named characters of William of Cassingham, Eustace the Monk and Fulk Fitz Warin.  I've also sneaked in an 'Outlaw Leader Generator' so you can create your own characters to lead those who live outside of King John's laws.

The plan for this week is to start work on the 'Skirmish of Wimentun Village' the actual Death and Taxes campaign, I will be sharing more about this at a later date.

Hello everyone, I thought I'd take this opportunity to let you know how things are currently going with pledge management, well, as the title says, we are going 'great guns'!

So far you have completed 648 out of 787 pledges, that's over 80% done which is just brilliant, providing us already with a good idea of how many packs we need to produce. Yes it's a lot!

We are still on track to lock all completed pledges at the end of this month, in just 25 days time. Our plan is to charge any extra card payments during the following day on the 1st June 2021.

Locking your pledges provides us with concrete stock numbers for fulfilment helping us to deliver on our goal of shipping by the end of September 2021. Current stock numbers tell us that the current top five choices are:

1. Outlaws 1

2. Foot Sergeants Marching

3. Village Characters 2

4. The Blacksmith

5. Priest of St. Oswald on Ass

If you haven't finalised everything yet and need a reminder of what you need to do, check out our walkthrough provided via an earlier update which can be found here.

Please note, if you do miss the end of May 2021 deadline you still receive your pledge, as long as you complete your survey.  However, it is very likely to be shipped later than the end of September 2021.

Good morning everyone I am receive a number of emails, comments, messages and support questions asking "Why aren't my FREEBIES listed in my pledge manager?".

I am sorry if this hasn't been very clear in previous updates. I have cut and pasted the relevant information into this single update, hoping to provide clarity.

The FREE bonus miniatures, which are The Early Backer Exclusive Miniature, The Falconer, The Bishop of York and Ambush!; plus a copy of the Death and Taxes book with the Outlawed Noble will be added to any and all qualifying accounts once your pledges are completed and before being locked to give you the maximum opportunity to qualify. 

How you qualify:

• The Early Backer Exclusive Miniature: backed the project in the first 24 hours and purchase at least one pack of miniatures - all backers up to and including backer #629 are eligible.

• The Falconer: back the project for at least £45 (exc. postage)

• The Bishop of York: back the project for at least £80 (exc. postage)

• Ambush!: back the project for at least £134 (exc. postage)

• Printed Death and Taxes book & The Outlawed Noble: back the project for at least £45 (exc. postage)

• Digital Death and Taxes book: All backers, this will be sent via email when ready, most likely end of August 2021.

To summarise, I (Andy) will be adding all the freebies just before we lock, after which I will send an update providing you with an opportunity to check your pledge before everything is processed.
