All the Death and Taxes Figures

We have a new pledge level called *All the Death and Taxes Figures*. You can swap to this pledge by clicking on the 'Change Your Pledge' button.

With The Templars being our last stretch goal of the campaign I have received lots of requests to set up a pledge level which results in you receiving all the figures from the campaign.  I'll do the same in the pledge manager as a single add-on product for those of you who have backed a terrain pledge and want to also add all the figures. The new pledge looks like this.

Apologies once again for the white place holders we are working on completing the missing figures and already have the following to show you.  The first two are part of the Village Character 3 pack - Farmhand with Flail at rest and Village Woman with a basket of goodies.

But wait, I also have what I think is my favourite village character The Leper to share, just don't get too close.

Having worked on this new pledge today, I am now saving the first update about the campaign setting until tomorrow. I have planned updates about the terrain too as I want to share more pictures of the buildings so you can get a real feel for them.

Update at the End of Day 2 - a quick round-up 😃

I wanted to finish day 2 with an update to round off what has been an extraordinary day! The pledges have kept rolling in taking us to almost to £52k which is an incredible amount. Once again Paul and I have been literally left speechless by your enthusiasm and support for this project.

The graphic below shows where we are regarding stretch goals, we unlocked the Outlaws - Merry Men 3, Veteran Sergeants with Crossbows and currently we are closing in on the Poacher & Gamekeeper.  I have to apologise for us not having all the miniatures ready to show you, in our defence, we didn't think we would need them all in such a short timeframe (yes, caught us with our pants down, again) and we promise to have them to share as soon as we possibly can:

What do all these stretch goals mean when it comes to pledging? If you wish to add all of the new unlocked packs, total up the extra amount and increase your pledge value to include them.  When the pledge manager opens later after the campaign ends you select the actual packs, building your pledge.

With the campaign going off like a rocket, after The Poacher & Gamekeeper is funded, we only have one stretch goal left. When this is added, our plan is to add a new pledge level to the campaign for one of every pack, the initial 10 packs (The Antagonists) and every stretch goal, making it easy for you to select all the miniatures. 

Tomorrow we start sharing the campaign setting, my plan is to introduce all the major characters to you before the Kickstarter ends. The idea was to start this today but I have just run out of time, mainly because I like to answer everyone.  If there is anything specific you want to know please add your questions to the comments section below and we will do our best to answer them.

Once again let me finish by thanking you all so much for your backing, it is mind-blowing and awesome in equal measures, both Paul and I are truly grateful.

Good Morning we are 14 hours in!

Well that all went a bit bonkers didn't it and we aren't even 24 hours into the campaign, which means everyone who has backed so far, and completes their pledge in the pledge manager later, will receive the fab early backer miniature made available to us by Seth.

This miniature will be available for early backers up until 8 pm today GMT (22.03.21) all you have to do is make a pledge before the deadline and complete it later in the pledge manager.

Wimentun Village (Physical Terrain) - New Pledge Added

The pledge for the physical village, which we restricted to 50 backers, all went by this morning which is just incredible.  We limited it to be sure that we could deliver by September 2021.

As the campaign isn't even a day old we have added a new physical Wimentun Village pledge as a 'Wave 2' of 25 more villages so as not to disappoint, the difference being we can guarantee delivery of this next wave by November 2021, hopefully, sooner!

Stretch Goals

We have powered our way through the stretch goals which has enabled us to add lots of thematic additions to the Death and Taxes range, some of which we'd thought about but hadn't planned in for this Kickstarter!  We are especially happy to have unlocked the goal for the physical campaign book and another pack of villagers, one of which may not be who he seems...

The stretch goal images you see above in white are placeholders as the figures have not been finished yet, you have been too quick for us!  As soon as Paul has them completed we will swap the actual figure images in and share them with you via an update.

I Want Both Terrain & Figures

The most common question we have received so far is "I want to back both Terrain & Figures but it will only allow me to back for one of the pledges." If you want to back for both terrain and miniatures choose the terrain pledge either 'Digital Terrain Files (STLs), The Hamlet (physical terrain) or Wimentun Village (physical terrain)' pledge level and add extra to your pledge amount for the figures you want. For example, to back for both The Village and The Antagonists choose the Village of Wimentun pledge level and add £60 to your pledge amount for a total of £260.

A couple of weeks after the Kickstarter finishes a pledge manager will open which everyone who pledgers will have access to. Inside there you choose the packs of figures you would like to spend your extra pledge money on.

At any time if you have any questions at all I am more than happy to help you, I will make sure that you can back for exactly what you want.

I hope this all makes sense, if not please ask.  Once again thank you so much, I don't think I can say that enough, and let's see if we can unlock EVERYTHING. Last Update at the End of Day 1 - Thank You!

Wow!  Our third Kickstarter and I am currently sat here once again stunned and overwhelmed by the communities response.  Paul and I just want to say a massive thank you for your support in getting us over the line in record time and for surging through stretch goals like it's nobodies business, I personally am speechless, still a bit shocked and thinking about how to put together a printed Death and Taxes campaign book!

Just to summaries, as everything happened so quickly, this is currently where we stand regarding stretch goals:

You unlocked these packs which can now be added to your pledges.  If you want to add any or all of them just add their value to your current pledge amount to include them.  If you haven't done this before the graphic below will show you how:

The Falconer & The Bishop of York FREE with pledges over £45 and £80 respectively

When the project reached £12,000 we were able to add The Falconer to every physical pledge £45 and over as a thank you for your support.  This was only possible as Benjamin Checota kindly offered us his pledge miniature from BW2 to help us with this campaign. We will be including rules for him in the campaign book.

Quickly afterwards we passed £18,000 allowing us to add The Bishop of York to every physical pledge £80 and over, once again as a thank you.  The bishop is ideal to be used as a mounted priest with your knightly Command Groups, however, in Death and Taxes campaign he has his part to play so will also have his own rules in there too.
